(English and GSCE Teacher)
I’ve been teaching English for almost 30 years. I have a University degree, and qualifications for TEFL, TOEIC and teacher training. I have a great deal of experience teaching to students from all age groups, from 6 to 90, at many ability levels. I have lived and worked in many countries, including the USA, Mexico, Russia, France, and for the last 11 years, in Japan I can speak basic Japanese, and intermediate French. My teaching style is friendly and relaxed, and I feel that I can create a strong bond between myself and my students, and can bring out the best in their abilities. In my free time I enjoy hiking, writing, surfing - and learning more about beautiful Japan.

(A levels and GSCE Teacher)
Hello! My name is Alisa, and I am currently a student at the School of International Liberal Studies at Waseda University. I have had a British education since the age of 2, and have gotten IGCSE and A Level Qualifications, as well as English language qualifications such as Eiken Grade 1, IELTS and TOEFL. One of my hobbies is learning languages and other than Japanese and English, I speak French and am currently studying Spanish and Korean. I also like playing the piano, composing music, reading, and skiing. In class I hope we can have fun learning English!

(A levels and GSCE Teacher)
I’ve been teaching English and Mandarin Chinese of all levels since January 2020 at Lykeio, before which I also had experiences tutoring TOEFL, SAT, and SAT subject tests (Maths, US History, etc.) for US college application in China and Japan. I major in East Asian Studies and Linguistics and have interests in neuroscience as well, so feel free to ask me anything about languages in general and human cognition during the classes! Apart from English, Chinese, and Japanese, I also speak German and a bit French, and I’m more than willing to give you advices on how to acquire a language efficiently and less painfully (lol). Apart from that, I travel a lot, run a personal art blog, and can talk for eternity about sci-fi movies and novels.
